Noah’s Ark Project
The mission of the Noah’s Ark Project is to help vulnerable underserved populations, especially children, in the state of Quintana Roo in south eastern Mexico. The project includes caring for abandoned and orphaned children in a foster care model, educating these children as well as adults and children of the surrounding jungle communities, providing free medical services, and meeting the spiritual needs of the community in a church.
God placed the vision in the heart of Dr Abi Ramirez twelve years ago while she was living and working in Tijuana, Mexico. The journey has brought Abi and her husband, Pastor Andres, and their three young daughters to Qunitana Roo via Peru. Their time in Peru at Casa Aguila allowed them to work in a ministry similar to Abi’s dream, which included an orphanage, school, medical clinic and church. After two years working in Peru they moved to Quintana Roo to begin the Noah’s Ark Project in 2023.
After following God’s call to first start a church in Puerto Morelos, Andres and Abi began searching for land for the project. Within a few short months the land was secured and work began to clear the jungle, put in an access road, and fence the property. Since, they have drilled a well and built the first building, a care takers home with restrooms for workers. Meanwhile the heart of Noah’s Ark Project has been happening even without the completed facilities: multiple medical clinics in the area, food and clothing distributions and spiritual care. We will continue to do the work of Noah’s Ark Project until the facilities are built and even beyond.
Your donations will allow us to complete the work on the facilities enabling us to provide consistent on site medical and spiritual care, provide the much needed education opportunities, and bring the children off the streets into loving, caring foster homes.
